Ballistic Missile Submarine) “Verkhoturye”.  Project 667BDRM Delta
IV (Dolphin) submarine, was constructed parallel to the Typhoon class, is a
further modification of the previous Delta. In comparison with Project 667-BDRM,
commissioned in December 1984. Carried out seven combat patrol missions.
Completed six-year repairs at the Zvezdochka State Machine-Building Enterprise
in 2000. No more than four SSBNs of the project are currently on duty with the
Northern Fleet (the Karelia, the Novomoskovsk, the Verkhoturye and the
